No. Ministry Triage™ is not counseling, psychotherapy, or psychiatric treatment.
It is a ministry-based support, stabilization, and discernment session designed to provide pastors and ministry leaders with a confidential place to tell the truth about what they are carrying, regain perspective, strengthen their inner foundation, and determine wise next steps.
A leader may come to Ministry Triage during a particularly difficult, disruptive, or urgent season. Our role is to help stabilize what can be stabilized, bring clarity to what is happening, and discern the healthiest way forward.
Ministry Triage does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions. When a leader's needs extend beyond the scope of Ministry Triage, we will help identify and encourage the appropriate next level of support, which may include a licensed mental-health professional, medical provider, recovery services, or another specialized resource.
You don't have to know exactly what kind of help you need before you come. That's part of what Ministry Triage is designed to help you discern.
