Soaring Behind Bars
When God unexpectedly opened the doors of three prisons in a single day, Soaring Behind Bars was born—not as an initiative we pursued, but as a calling we were entrusted with. What followed was unmistakable evidence of divine favor and precise timing.
This ministry stands firmly on the promise of Isaiah 61:1:
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
From wardens to correctional officers to inmates who feel overlooked and forgotten, the invitation has been clear: bring hope, bring truth, bring restoration. Through Summoned to Soar, men and women behind bars are encountering more than encouragement—they are being reminded of their identity, dignity, and God-given purpose.
Each book becomes a seed planted into hardened places, addressing the whole person—spiritually awakening hope, emotionally restoring worth, mentally renewing perspective, and practically equipping individuals to imagine a future beyond their past. This is not about temporary inspiration, but lasting inner transformation.
